in 30 days

604 pages left to read in 30 days.

How it works

Your plan in thirty seconds

  1. 1

    Choose your starting point

Pages, juz or hizb, and what you've already read if you're picking up where you left off.

  2. 2

Set a deadline or a pace

An end date (30 days, 3 months…) or the number of pages you can keep up each day.

  3. 3

    Split up your day

The tool also gives the number of pages to read after each of the five prayers.

The mushaf in numbers

The Madinah mushaf has 604 pages, divided into 30 juz of about 20 pages each, and each juz is split into two hizb. It's the tool's reference.

Common reading paces

GoalPer dayAfter each prayer
30 days (one Ramadan)1 juz, about 20 pages4 pages
2 months10 pages2 pages
3 monthsabout 7 pages1 to 2 pages
6 monthsabout 3.4 pagesless than a page
1 yearunder 2 pagesa third of a page

Reading four pages after each prayer is enough to finish the Quran in a month. It's the simplest method for Ramadan.

Choose a pace you can keep

A modest pace kept every day takes you further than an ambitious goal dropped after a week. The Prophet ﷺ advised Abdullah ibn Amr to read the Quran in a month (hadith reported by Al-Bukhari). If you're starting again after a break, enter the pages you've already read: the plan recalculates based on what's left.

And every day, right in your pocket

The QuranWay app has a khatam plan: your progress follows your reading in the app, and the reader takes you back to the surah where you stopped, in Arabic with the translation.
